Essential Leadership Skills Workshops
We offer a series of workshops that provide the foundation for leadership development within an organization. These concise, hands-on workshops deliver the essential skills needed in today’s working environment. They include:
1 - Coaching Primer for Leadership Leaders who utilize coaching skills have more effective teams, retain their key people and experience higher overall productivity. This session is the first step towards developing core coaching skills. Its purpose is to provide a clearer understanding of coaching and its potential. Some of the topics that will be discussed include: - What is coaching?
- What are some misconceptions of coaching?
- How can I use coaching to develop the people around me?
- How do I demonstrate leadership in my everyday activities?
- How do I get my employees to work as a team?
- How do I assist my employees to become more independent?
Leaders who attend this session better understand the role that coaching can play in their interactions with others, both at work and in their personal lives. They will be introduced to tools that they can use to support others in taking purposeful actions. Delivery time: typically 1 hour, recommend as a lunch-and-learn. 2 - Leadership Fundamentals This workshop aims to quickly immerse participants into leadership through demonstration and hands-on applications of leadership techniques. Participants will better understand what leadership is and what it is not. They will know the stages of a good leadership session and have the opportunity to apply new skills in actual sessions. They will also better be able to immediately apply it in their everyday interaction with others. Delivery time: typically 3 - 4 hours, 3 - Creating Leadership Moments This workshop provides an opportunity for participants to elevate their coaching skills and create more leadership moments in their everyday interactions with others. Sessions are fast moving and involve "real-life" scenarios to immediately benefit all participants. This workshop is particularly useful to participants who have had the opportunity to work with the Leadership Fundamentals and wish to deepen the effectiveness of their skills.
